We want
to Thank volunteers- Brandon Townsend (Santa) and
Bryan Townsend (Helper Elf) for making such a wonderful event
possible.
Check
out the pictures to see the smiling
faces.
With some donations we are able to have this
event.
Have your lights on Friday, December 23rd to take part
in the annual holiday decorating contest.
Prizes
of
First Place $75.00
Second Place $50.00
And Third Place $25.00
Will be awarded that evening after judging. If A non- sca Member's house is chosen, your
annual dues will be deducted from the prize.
As you all Know at the end of this term, Buel and Frank will be
stepping down as President and Treasurer. At this point no one has come forward to fill these positions.
Hopefully someone will step up and do this by April 2012, or we will be faced to dissolve the Civic Association
at the end of this term. If this happens there will be no snow plowing , sign maintenance, island and sign area
landscaping, events for the children, and no liaison help between Politicians, Police, and New Castle County
for residents with problems.
Check out the Halloween Parade Pictures by
click on the picture below. Turn out was not great but considering that we had snow the day before might had
effected the turn out. But the Children that did show had a blast having trick or treat at the shopping
center.
We want to thank Staples, Delaware Premium Aquatics, Brookside Liqures,Rite Aid, Tuesday
Morning, And the Great Wall Chinese for handing out treats and school supplies to our
children.
